The application of low level light therapy (LLLT) relieves pain, reduces inflammation and edema (swelling). It promotes healing in a range of musculoskeletal pathologies. This type of light triggers biochemical changes within cells.


LLLT in the treatment of pain


Acute orthopedic conditions such as:
-ligament sprains and muscular strains
-post surgical pain
-whiplash injury
-muscular back pain
-cervical (neck) or lumbar (low back) radiculopathy (pinched nerve).
-tendinitis and bursitis
-Knee pain

 

Chronic conditions such as:
-osteoarthritis
